Nothing we do with horses is neutral. Every moment either builds them up or breaks them down—so the question is not whether we are training but whether we are doing so intentionally.

Half-attention, rushed minds and distracted handling are quickly reflected back to us through tension, confusion or resistance. Horses demand our presence.

If we meet resistance, we are probably doing too much, too soon—or need to revisit the fundamentals like pain, understanding, clarity and the environment.
