about
"An open mind leaves a chance for someone to drop a worthwhile thought in it."
Mark Twain
The equestrian world is shifting. My aim is simple: to contribute meaningfully to that change by being part of the conversation — not to have all the answers but to explore questions, share insights and support others in finding their own solutions.

"A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions."
Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.
This blog is also a personal project — a way for me to organise what I’m learning and stretch myself by sharing it in my own words. I am an idea synthesiser: learning from every experience, inside and outside the horse world, without allegiance to any single method or system. I listen deeply, pay attention and reflect. My hope is that this space in turn helps you to reflect, question, feel less alone and discover new ways of thinking too.

the
space
between
What I often feel is missing in much of the horse world is “the space between” — that sweet spot where the motivation, discipline and resilience of an athlete meet the awareness, kindness and curiosity of an artist.
It is where my passions for horses and wellness collide:
-
The space between values mental and emotional wellbeing as much as physical health.
-
The space between involves time spent working on oneself away from the horse.
-
The space between is where every horse is treated as both a horse and an individual.
Whether you are a competitor seeking horses that are more athletic, balanced and resilient
or someone who simply wants to connect with their horse without fear, struggle or frustration for either of you.
This is where I believe your answers lie.
it starts with us
In this blog I advocate for a mindful, compassionate approach to training and riding. I write from a place of empathy, for horse and human, with patience for all. My goal with my horses is a seamless, harmonious relationship — one built on a foundation of clear communication and cooperation. Both you and your horse deserve to be seen and heard.
But change will always start with us: after all, the human is the only one in the partnership who can consciously choose to create change. So let’s strive to become someone our horses will choose.

you're in the right place

Any equestrian who is willing to question, in order to evolve, for themselves as well as their horse, will feel at home here.
Take a look around, explore the blog and join the conversations - you’ll find reflections, insights and ideas to help you grow.
My hope is that we all keep questioning, keep evolving—and in time, continue sharing that awareness with others.
